The worse experience of my life!

Me and my boyfriend moved here and it seemed too good to be true! When we moved in the bathroom floor was filthy and no matter how hard I scrubbed and how much I mopped it still looked triflin. The cabinets were old and hanging off and had dead roaches under the sink not to mention the sink began leaking the first two weeks we were there! The walls seem like they are as thin as paper...I could hear my neighbors on both sides of me and the ones underneath me. When you go outside there are ten millions kids playing football and bouncing basketballs in the narrow parking lots! I bought a brand new car and got a dent in it from a football the first month I had the car! Management changes ALL THE TIME. They also seem to have an issue with keeping up paper work. They lose everything.
AND LASTLY...at one point the padlock on my door got stuck one afternoon causing me not to be able to leave my apartment! I had to call management and they sent some retarded maintenance man to kick my door in which caused more damage to the already busted door. They came back and HAMMERED the lock back in place! A couple of days later the door would not shut completely or lock...I called management and they said they were sending someone over and never came. I had to push our couch against the door and slept in the living room in fear someone may try to come into my apartment. All in all it was the worst experience ever! DONT move there unless you have the LOWEST standards ever!

If I was you, (wantomove08) I would not move there because like to first person said they have to many problems at this complex. I just recently moved out of an apartment there, I was living there for 3 years and when I was there management change every 4 months and mainatence staff too. My first year there we had a problem with ants and no heat in the winter months. The next year the ants went away and the rodents came and still no heat and now no air in the summer. Last but not least in the last year we was there we still didn't have any heat in the coldest month ever. When you tell Management they say they will send someone but nobody ever show up. If you do move here you will experience alot of noise from neighbors, you will smell weed in the hallways and in your apartment, you will see alot of kids hanging out all times of the night, and sitting on your car, you also may have a few dents or scraps on your car, and when you need a maintance person they would not come. You would have to find somebody else to fix you problem in your apartment or go to court. Oh, by the way the only time they will fix something in your apartment is if you don't pay your rent and they take you to court. So, for these reason I would never move back here or refer anybody to this complex.

I don't even live here and I'd say don't move here if. They DO have a ROACH problem they have had one forever. I used to do extermination for this complex and yes some of the tenants are triflin as hell, but the apartments are so old and have some many Roaches and eggs in the walls you would literally have to tare the whole complex down and rebuild it to get rid of them. The community is never clean trash, beer bottle, crack bags everything just laying outside. Not to mention NO PARKING!!! My girlfriend just moved over there and if she could have afforded somewhere better she wouldn't have picked Hillside Heights. I think all of there apartments have mold or leaks. I also know others that live there or used to and they either moved out or if they are still there they are trying desprately to get out. I admit I comtemplated moving here because the rooms are very big, they have nice closet space and they are very inexpensive, but after visiting some of the current residents I decided to continue to pay my $1245 a month for rent instead of $800 and live without the unwanted pets, mildew etc..... As for the ppl that are promoting this complex, they must have you on payroll or your one of those triflin ass tenants that's sitting out on the stoop, having your kids run up and down and in and out of the buildings. Better yet your probably one of the staff.

Yup, I have to agree with the person above me. Anyone that gives even one thumb up to these apartments are one of the nasty ass tenants that have no standards and no problems living in garbage. They DO have a SERIOUS ROACH problem. It's disgusting. I am a clean freak and cleaned EVERYDAY and still saw critters. Please stop lying to people. Everyone isn't okay with living in triflon' conditions.

if you enjoy people taking your rent out of the tiny winny short short unsecure drop box if you enjoy listening to next day ---- having sex and playing house musice all nite.
if you have you air on and its 97 degrees out side but yet you have to go out side and cool off.
if you dont mind putting a work order in and waiting till your lease is up before they fix it.
if you wake up in the morning and enjoy the ants crawling all over your damn chest.
if you like yo play toilet catch with others in the building by flushing ---- turds back-n-forth(maybe its called hotshitato).
if you feel proud that the maintenance comes over to fix something but asks your man how to do it.
