Best Place in DC Metro

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2006
I returned back to Penn Southern in September after having lived there from 2001-2005. I completely shocked friends and others because I left last year to move to a condo in Tysons Corner, and they viewed it as a step back to move back to Penn Southern. For me it was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life! Not only were the staff at Penn Southern openly receptive, but the two bedroom apartment I have now is even better than the one I had for the four years I previously lived there! The appliances are nice and the carpet is as well.
The grounds are well maintained, maintenance is very responsive, and crime for me is non-existent. PG County police patrol the community often, and neighbors are friendly and speak. In addition whenever I don't feel like driving, there are busstops in front of the complex that can either take you on the 6 minute trip to the Naylor Road metro or into the District which is literally across the street.
Moving back to Penn Southern has literally affected my overall attitude. Living in Tysons Corner as a young --------American male was extremely stressful ( stopped 6 times by the police while living there.) Now I'm back in an area where I feel comfortable, in a community that I feel a part of and love.
