For what I pay, 1K a month (does NOT include gas & electric), I expected better quality appliances and overall workmanship in the apartment. The patchwork repairs that were done prior to my move-in were substandard. Note: If someone has kicked and punched holes in a closet door, you should probably REPLACE it instead of trying to REPAIR it. The maintenance staff is responsive and for the most part friendly.

My biggest issues are 1) my upstairs neighbor must be related to the jolly green giant. I can hear every footfall from upstairs. They are up all hours of the night apparently dancing above my bed. Having loud conversations or fights at night is not unusual. 2) My neighbors throw their junk mail on the floor of the hallway instead of taking it into the house and throwing it away. 3) The single pane 12 foot patio door allows air in. Standing next to it is like being outside. My gas bill is higher here than in a three level townhouse twice the size. They need to replace the 30 year old balcony/patio windows.

I have had no problems with rodents or roaches (thank goodness). It is too bad my neighbors are so ignorant. I will be buying a DETACHED house before my lease ends.

I am sure there are worse places to live in PG County.

since your not dealing with rodents or roaches. i on the other hand is dealing with roaches and my place is CLEAN. no lie. i'm ready to leave my damn self. i would have to call either every week or ever other week for them to spray. i do agree with you on the rent. it makes no sense at all
