I moved in my one bedroom apartment in September. I decided to write a review because this site helped me rule out a big mistake I was about to make moving into another complex (University Gardens). The apartments are nice and affordable. The 2nd day I was there I did see two roaches. I killed them and keep my place clean and have not seen another since. I actually feel safe because it's an open area, good lighting at night, property stays clean. I love the fact that we don't need parking permits, and there's always space available. I can't complain about anything. Oh wait, the kids outside my window at night cuss too much. People warned me that it was a bad neighborhood but I don't see it. I don't walk my dog on Southern Ave at night but I feel safe walking him around the complex. The people in the rental office are also nice, not rude and ghetto like some I have meet when I was doing my apartment searches. Well that's it. I hope I helped someone make an important decision like someone helped me.

yea the people are nice. i'm still seeing roaches in my apt. i do feel you on the neighbors. in my building on a weekday they are blasting their music up real loud like we don't have jobs in the morning and the people outside the complex do be getting on my nervers with all that cussing and what not. the people are great.
