So I'm a new resident, I have a one bedroom apartment and I LOVE IT!!! Its spacious, clean and my neighbors are quiet, definitely no complaints here. I have a dog and this is a pet friendly community and unlike other places, THERE IS NO PET DEPOSIT!!! Just 50.00 a month, some places I came across wanted 250.00 & up for a deposit and still extra for monthly rent. No there are no rodents, bugs, nothing to that affect. No people hanging out in front and there is security that drives around at night and sometimes posted during the day. I utilized this site for my apartment search and its a great tool. I have searched across the DC area and have come across some of the worst places. Thanks to the reviews on here I was able to get the truth from residents and that definitely made a difference. I've been here about 2 weeks and everything is great, especially the office staff. There isn't a better team than Ebony, Rita, and Ms. Jeanette. These women are professional, friendly and make you feel as if you were part of their own family. They all deserve a raise in my opinion, lol. If you are seeking a place, I highly recommend Penn Southern.
