Can I get an HONEST and UNBIASED opinion from current residents; especially from a female prospective on the Pleasant House Apartments' (Preferably tenants living at the complex within the last year or two; or the past 5 to 8 months) Thank you!

(1) LOCATION/SAFETY: Is the apartment safe...how is the surrounding area' Is it safe'
(2)LOITERING: Is loitering a major issue or concern'
(3) PEST CONTROL: Is there a problem with infestation of insects or rodents'
(4) NOISE LEVEL: Are the walls super thin (can you hear you neighbors every move)...Is noise level a big issue'
(5) OFFICE STAFF: Is the office staff professional and provide you customer service'
(6) MAINTENANCE: Is there a big problem with maintenance issues...Is the maintenance crew prompt (is it a big hassle to get things fix)'
(7) TENANTS: Does certain tenants degrade or bring down the community or do they keep to themselves'

Once again...Can I get an HONEST and UNBIASED opinion. Thanks to all who reply.

I guess you are new at apartment hunting but to get a honest opinion you need to get it from a resident that has longevity with the community. I have been a resident for seven years. The location is great you can ride the bus/train in to work. There is a no loitering tolerance at Pleasant House. With the noise level it is pretty much quiet but you have to remember that you share a building structure with multiple families. The Manager is very helpful and kind. She has been working at the property for as long as I have lived here. Some residents have a problem with her only because she strictly follows the rules and guidelines set up but they have a difficulty in admitting the truth. She just received another promotion this year and I would trust her my kids and I very particular when it comes to them. If she didn't run a tight ship it would be a ghetto place. The maintenance staff is friendly and they get the work done. I have learned that if you report right away, it gets done right away but if you linger reporting the problem it will take longer to get it fix. The residents here pretty much stay to themselves but I have noticed that the older residents bond quite well and look out for one another.

That you olman3 for your opinion. By what u say, the apt complex seems great and has somewhat of a family structure to it. But in ur opinion (despite the the fact it's still located in Capital Heights...PG County) Is it safe and suitable for a young single female?

It is as safe as any other place people live. Whether you are living in a house or home, you are never secured from a crime. You can drive up in your driveway into your garage and be attacked. Please don't be critical of P.G. because many of our great country nation's leaders came from this area. A tip for you will be to visit Pleasant House at night and any other communities you are considering.
