NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL...

I love my 1 bedroom apartment and its space. My kitchen is a very nice size and the closet space is absolutely seductive.. OMG!! Closet space is very important to me because I have so much stuff and I don't like for things to be crowded, I need room. When I first moved in I noticed the refrigerator was brand new, the toilet and my stove was fairly new. One of the things that surprise me are my utility bills. I admit I was a little scared to pay electric, but I have honestly never had a electric bill over $35 and I fall asleep all the time with the tv playing and lights on. My gas bill this month was $11. My place is very comfortable and I have good insulation that I rarely need to turn on the heat. My building is very friendly and all the neighbors are pretty cool. The funny thing is that I love to turn on my music when I am cooking and cleaning up and so do a couple other residents in my building so its good to know Im not the odd one. My advice is to come home, mind your business, keep your apartment clean and dont pay any attention to the kids that play outside. They are truly harmless and they do speak and I don't even have kids. Kids are going to be kids and we all played outside laughing and joking when we wer young so let them be kids. Its better than them getting into trouble like other neighborhood in the area. I have no complaints with my apartment, have yet to see any rodents, roaches, but did see a spider one morning on the ceiling, but who really cares. I am sure I will be renewing my lease when its time. Rent is pretty reasonable and I feel safe coming in all hours of the nights and Im a WOMAN! Word of advice when thinking about moving into a place: Park your car and get out and walk around the neighborhood to see how you are treated by residents and how safe you feel. P.S. If you dont feel safe enough walking around then how will you move in the apartment in the first place. (Just my opinion)

This response mayh be a little late but the complex is free of roaches rats and rodents. I work really late hours. I haven't had any problems. I get home at 2,3,4 in the morning sometimes. The only problem I have is my new teneants above me make alittle bit of noise above my head because they have kids. That is my only problem and that is minor. Maintence are promt. I have don't have a problem. I hope that is helpful.

I am gonna have to agree with the first review here. Just to respond to the second review, what do you expect? We all have jobs here to do and its understandable to be late on rent once or twice but nobody lives for free, so its their job to contact you with notices. Hell I can admit I was late on my rent once but shi* that's life and I had other things going on at the time so I just sucked it up and paid the late fee. I got over it!!
Compared to other apartments in the area the Woods is extremely nice and I know its because of the Community Mgr (Ms. Davis) and the Owner's (WCSmith Co.) who actually care about the upkeep of their property and their tenants. I have only had to call maintenance once and when I called I spoke directly to Ms. Davis and explained to her that I needed to get to work could she have someone sent to my unit asap. Well surprisingly she sent maintenance to my door in less than 30 min and he came in and fixed my switch really fast. Im going to say one more thing and then Im done. I love that Management sends out notices about our community such as when the parking lot is going to be painted, when landscaping is taking place, if water will be off for a couple hours due to construction, etc. They always keep us (tenants) informed of things going on in the community and I hope that Management stays STABLE because one bad bone is all it takes to run the community downhill and I hope they read this review.
