I lived here for a little over 6 years with my parents from time I was 14 till just a few short months ago when I moved out on my own. Now, I never paid rent or anything like that, but my parents and I have a very open relationship so I know about all the stuff that would go down with the terrible office staff here. My Dad was always in a fit with them. Last summer, our AC broke (basically, our apt never got any cooler than 78 degrees or something). Repeatedly the maintanence staff kept saying nothing was wrong, blah blah. How can nothing be wrong'' Our air is not cool, meaning SOMETHING IS WRONG! Finally, my Dad threatened to hire his own person and take it out of his rent, when the apt complex sent a specialist over who *gasp* found and fixed the problem. They tried to hit my parent's up for more money because they said we had too many cats (three), but they were very rude and unsympathetic towards us. They're constantly leaving notes on people's doors saying the maintanence is going to be fixing something or doing something in the apt and arrangements need to be made for children/pets. Now this wouldn't be such a problem if they were leaving the notes the day before the maintanence staff was to be there. Back when I was about 15 or 16, if I would forget my house key, I would walk over the apt complex to grab a spare key and they were always so ridiculously rude to me as if I was incompetent.
On the plus side, the apts are beautiful and spacious. It's quiet, there's plenty of parking, there's a brand new gym/business center, the pool is huge and luxurious (although you have pay for pool passes every year and it costs like $5 for guests who don't live there to get in).
Bottom line, this place could be top of the line if only the office/maintanence staff gave a .... well, you know. If you can deal with rude landlords (like my dad, he fixes all the problems from the washing machines to the toilet to the painting to the carpet himself and when he moves, plans out getting all of the work/money he put into the place back) than you should really like this place. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai
