Carroll Island

 

I loved living here.

It was qiet and cheap, theres lovely scenery, it's convient to alot of places.

I noticed problems with things breaking and maitnance issues off the bat.

I had several instances where my outlets began smoking and thank god I was home or there could have been alot of damage.

A few times the sockets blew in the kitchen and I had no appliances.

The laundry room light had been broken for at least a year.

The outside lights were also brooken so bats swoop at your head.

Snakes come in in august we found one and our neighbor found one everyyear shed been there sometimes toads are on the porch.

The laudry room stored the hot water heater and it flooded one day I reported it at 10 am and when I got home from work at 5pm it stil lwas leaking hot water into the hall and my apartment.

They sent someone to clean the carpets and they discovered mold near the ac unit.

The maintance man opnened it ac unit closet which was painted over so he had to pry it open leaving a mark on my wall and breaking the door.

The hose had broken god knows when and water was traped in it and leaking all on the fllor and seeping into my ccarpet moling everything in its vacinity.

I never even knew it was there.

I suffered alot of headaches and fatigue when i lived there and now I feel alot better but I do miss the peace and quiet.
