In looking to rent an apartment in the Bethesda/CC area I had the misfortune to even look at the Highland House.
Some of the other opinions here ring true. Old grumpy people, smells, rude staffs and parking problems.
Living in an apartment is to give up certain things. Dealing with other people's habits and what now is one thing. Have a property management staff that does not care about prospective tenants and explains away the obvious with distortions is not a good sign.
How long will this nursing home last - who knows it will just have to last without me.
