I've been living in Highland House for about 4 years now and unfortunately its getting worse and worse due to the never ending construction. Their is jack hammering very early in the morning and the dirt that has been generated from the construction is in my apartment and I can't get it out. I'm now too alergic to stay in it. (I need to move out VERY soon.) Also, the security (although getting better) is lacking. The building needs to be locked during the day. My apartment and other apartment were robbed about 2 years ago and the management was barely concerned and didn't want me to let other tenants know about what happened. And then a girl was sexually attacked in the buidling a few months ago. Horrible. Although the location is terrific, I don't recommend the building. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7

I feel for you. It's amazing that the same management company that manages HH also manages HHW. My best friend lives at Highland House West and absolutely loves it. In fact, she says security is awesome and that is one of HHW's main selling points. I believe you, though, regarding Highland House's bad security. How can one building, less than a block away and managed by the same management team, be so much better than the other? Doesn't make sense...but I remember that girl who was assaulted in your building. Corporate should fire their present team at HH and just start anew.

I agree. Half the time the front desk people are not around, they never watch the video cameras. They let anyone in and give crap to residents (whom they know) if they don't have their fob. They also are idiots on every other level regarding apartment life. I never heard that about the girl being attacked. That is horrible. I do know that people just walk into my apartment though (unannounced). My roommate was taking a shower when she heard two men's voices. She was totally terrified.It was two men from the leasing office. I hate this building.
