After living in highland house for about 2 years, I have decided to finally move out. The last straw was not because of the construction, but because I now have roaches coming into my apartment. EW!

You probably have nasty neighbors. There are so many immigrants in this area, I wouldn't be surprised. Just telling it like it is, folks...don't hate. You'd be frustrated, too, if you woke up to the smell of grotesque, overpowering Asian or Indian cooking coming into your HVAC vents because your neighbor does this every morning. Oh, and let's not forget when you walk past one of these immigrant residents, they have their door open, and you glance into a filthy pigsty. That's why you have roaches.

haha, sometimes i wonder how people even get apartments this nice....if it was downtown silver spring, maybe i'd understand.

i happen to be indian who cooks a lot in general and have lived in this building for three years now...never seen a roach. Sometimes you have to be clean yourself.....roaches need some dirt to survive on...not just fumes you know.

i'm an afghan attorney living in the building and i have to say that the smell coming from the white folks apts are equally if not eve more horrendous...every time i walk by, i think i'm walking by a farm...please take a shower and cut down on the swine...you guys are a living proverb of "you are what you eat". also, its really impressive that you go to the gym and come back sweaty, but please take a damn shower and change your socks. it wouldn't hurt to clean your "new balance" white "running shoes".
