I love this location!

Sure, we've had to endure construction and other associated noises and hassles. However, I absolutely love living in this part of Chevy Chase. Since moving to the DC Metro area, I've lived in MUCH less desirable parts of Maryland.
I love being able to walk down the street to the metro. For those that enjoy dining out, there are many restaurants in walking distance. There is a GIANT grocery store across the street. There is a movie theater in walking distance. There are a few nearby hotels in case you need a close location for out of town guests to stay. There is a farmer's market that sets up in the little courtyard/park behind the apartment building during the spring/summer. My Primary Care physician happens to be located in a building just down the street.
As for the building itself, I haven't had any major problems. The most annoying things might be the package room hours, but I happen to receive many packages throughout the year and the times that staff is available does not always suit me - but that's life.
Oh, there is also a Friendship Height shuttle that goes around the neighborhood, including the Giant, so if it's cold or you don't feel like walking, you can just hop on board.
Overall, I give an A . The only thing that would be cooler is cheaper parking or lower rent - but it's reasonable for the location! SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
