Highland House West is conveniently located just three blocks from Friendship Heights metro, and right by a lot of shops and restaurants. The service is great, and the apartments are huge! We love the pool area -it's on the roof and has a lot of seating. The gym is great too - the machines are in great condition and have individual TV screens (with cable TV).

Maintenance has been quick to handle any problems that arise. There is 24-hour coverage at the Front Desk so that you can always collect packages regardless of time of day. There are laundry rooms on every floor - we hardly ever have to wait to do laundry (the machines are almost always available).

To be fair, we do have some minor issues as well: frequent memos from management under the doors about things that aren't important or relevant to us; residents tend to be older, and every once in a while you do encounter a grumpy resident (however, most residents are friendly).

Overall, we love living here and don't want to move until we are ready to buy a place of our own... g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
