My husband and I have lived here for about a year and really love it. There are so many great things to love: huge apartments (1,000 sq ft), lots of storage space, walk-in closet, large balconies. Management staff are always extremely nice and accomodating, and if there's ever a problem, maintenance usually comes within minutes (literally).
The roof-top pool is heaven and the gym is convenient (although the touch TV's w/o headphone jack inputs are frustrating). Everyone is very friendly and there is a nice community-feel.
But...within the last few months an awful, horrendous smell has been seeping into our vents and into our (otherwise lovely) apartment. It is a horrible moldy, mildewy, smoky smell. Maintenance cleaned out our vents and even though the smell has subsided, it has yet to completely go away.
Not only has the smell been affecting our living situation but our rent also has increased. I realize this is standard, and we wouldn't mind paying the increase if everything was fine and dandy. But the awful smell along with the increase in rent (especially in today's economy) may send us to look elsewhere.

The Management team takes all problems very seriously and smells tend to travel if the roof fans are down for any reason. Any time there is something unpleasant in your home, please come to the office so that we can ensure it's taken care of - we are here to help! It is never our intention with renewals to give such high increases that it forces our residents out. We value our residents and want them to stay with us as long as possible.
