I have left Irene because of management. Since Mr. Percheino has left some time ago this high class building has gone down hill. The management in the office would treat you like you are bothering them. The pride and class seemed to disappear.

This reviewer is 100% correct. Let me also add, it's my experience that residents under 50 are treated as second-class citizens by management.

I am a 16 year resident of the Irene. During this time, I have seen it all. Management gone really bad! The first drop was the Smith Realty Management which trashed the building, replace hi end luxury WCs with cheap one which builders use in low end buildings. Then came some relief in the name of Mr. Percheino and the place starting to look like the old Irene I fell in love with. But then for some unknown reason he was replaced and we have been managed by a condescending, self centered and rude manager by the name of Ms. Stagner. For the life of me I cannot umdestand the owner's willigness to keep her on. She makes the place miserable. If you want to live here, avoid her at all costs. Talk to her boss. And yes she does have a boss! She might think she rules the Irene, but in fact she works for us tennants. Her salary comes from our rents. Unfortunatly this is a fact that she often forgets.
Having said all this, living here has been great, all the staff, excluding the manager are very helpful and accomodating, from door-men, bus drivers, maintenance staff and the office staff.
