The Irene is a fine old building if you don t mind being woken up by ambulances idling in the driveway once a week, buses and trucks rumbling by early nearly every morning, and walls so thick that wireless reception is impossible more than a few feet from a window. One also has to ignore old women walking the halls in night gowns and senior citizens driving recklessly in the garage.

On the plus side, the location is great and the shuttle to the Metro convenient.
