North is Great! East is the exact opposite

I have lived in both Briarcliff North (only 1 bedroom apts) and East (1-3 bedrooms). Over at North (same access to pool, gym, etc) there is PLENTIFUL parking, never even comes CLOSE to being full. East, its ok during the summer, but during the school year, I have had to park right next to Cranbrook road, and hike all the way to the back of the complex where I live...not fun (and a little sketchy) in zero degree weahter at midnight. My apt in North cooled very well during the summer, no problems what so ever. The 3 bedroom apt in East was horrible. Called maintenance about once a week all summer (also, I agree with other comments that the office staff are quite unfriendly and not helpful), and the apt never got below 75 degrees (except maybe when it was nice and cool outside, then it would be the same out and in, but never any cooler). What was really wonderful was that we got to pay a $250 electric bill for sub par AC! Not to mention that in the 3 bdrm apt, the 2nd and 3rd bdrms combined MIGHT be the same size as the master bdrm, the third being good for barely more than a den. Also, in general the community over at North is much nicer. The grounds appear better kept up. It is very quiet (no families, playgrounds, etc). Whereas at East you have plenty of families abound, and its really fun when you have a playground outside your balcony...good luck getting any nice and quiet reading time out there on a nice evening.
So in general, if you find the apts at North provide you with enough space, go there by all means, I really liked it there. Avoid East most definately.
