Lived in a three bedroom for a year. We had problems with the fire alarm at first, they ended up coming 3 times until they actually gave in and replaced it.

Then we had a problem with the air conditioning. It took them 5 times to finally tell us what was wrong, which was over a month after we had lived there.

Then one of my roommates had a problem with her outlet in her room not working. They ended up having to tear up my wall and her wall to fix the electrical current or something, but it was done in a day and everything was fine.

My room, which faced the front of the building was a problem because when it would rain, the rain would catch in the window sill and then leak into my room. My wall also cracked and then caused my carpet to mildew. Most of these problems are because the buildings are old. But when I called, they came and fixed the problem, even if it meant they had to come more than once.

My biggest problem with living here was the gas and electric bill. My roommates and I were in college. Most of the time, we weren't even home except between the hours of 9 pm and 6 am. Our gas and electric bills on more than one occasion were over $600 combined. I didn't understand how that is even possible. It didn't help that we were in a building with mostly families and older couples.

Overall, this is a decent place to live. Never really had a problem with management or maintainence, other than the fact the apartments are old and probably need to be updated quite a bit. Have friends that still live there and they really don't have many complaints either. Someone tried to break into my roommates car one time, some little 14 yr old punk probably because they weren't strong enough to pop the door of the hinges, but other than that, no other crime problems. I would recommend if you are patient enough to deal with the little problems you will run into. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
