Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
My room mate and I moved into Briarcliff in 2007. At the time, we had a great relationship, but after about a year things got a little on the crazy side. She and I had a lot of issues and I actually started to fear what my room mate would do next. When I first went to see the Manager I was told she was not in the office, but I sat down with one of the leasing people (blond)who listened to my problem and said she would inform the manager about what was going on.
Later that day I received a phone call (as promised) from the resident manager and she and I discussed options for dealing with my roommate who was becoming very hostile. She even called my roommate to discuss what our options were. My roommate and I ended things that year and I am still living in a Briarcliff Apt...this time a one bedroom ON MY OWN!!
The office staff surprised me a bit...when we first moved in I wasn't really impressed by them and I dreaded having to go talk with them about my problem - most places I've ever lived before -including college- don't seem to take these things seriously. These guys seemed really concerned about us and they were pretty cool to deal with when I decided to move to another apartment.
I don't know...so far, I like the people and the place, seems like they really care about the residents.
