A decent place to live

Briarcliff worked out well for me. The escalating price is a little annoying and the traffic of kids from the local school can irritate you sometimes, but other than that it has been a good experience. You can't hear very much through the walls and my building at least was very quiet. There was a fire in the downstairs apartment and it was unable to spread because of the construction, which was a very good thing for me on the third floor. The trash is picked up right at your door on a daily basis and grounds are kept clean. The area of town is becoming a little seedy, but you get a lot for your money at this complex. The one thing to take note of is that as of late 2005, residents are responsible for gas and water. That would be fine, except that it is not by individual unit. I didn't use my gas heat all winter yet I had to pay huge gas bills because my neighbors ran it up.
