Century II Apartments

Not recommended From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/26/2002 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2002   These apts were built sloppily in the 70s and it shows. Floors and walls are no longer anywhere approaching plumb Soundproofing is non existant. Repairs that have been made, especially my bathroom floor, were coming apart the next day and the repair man left a total mess. Really HOT H2O became available for the first time a month ago, (been here 3 yrs) Right now (day after Christmas) Im writing this after being awakend by maintenence at 8:a.m. so they can paint my front door and replace a doorbell w/ a doorkocker, my front door has been propped open all day its cold and anyone could walk in a rob me were I not home. I pay $711 for a 1 BR. Why am I still here' A break-in thru the windows/balcony would require special ops. if on top floor.
