8/27/04 - I moved here almost a year ago, and am very sorry I did. The noise is ridiculous, I have had to call the cops 6 times this year due to fights in the parking lot between all the rednecks who live here. The walls are so thin I can hear my neighbor coughing and opening/closing cabinets. There is a crazy women below me who screams (and I mean SCREAMS) at her dogs at 6am every morning. I've been counting down the days since I moved in, and in a week I am out of here! Words cannot describe the excitement I feel to leave this hellhole. And don't bother trying to get something fixed, if the office even takes your call they're incredibly rude and unresponsive. Not to mention that the carpets were filthy when I moved in, covered in spots and cigarette burns. And I don't even want to think about how the bathroom looked when I first looked at it! The workout room has 2 treadmills and only one works, and since it doesn't get AC, don't go there if you're trying to work out for more than 10 minutes. Please please please learn from my mistakes and don't move here!!!!

UPDATE: 9/15/04 - When you move out you have to schedule an appointment for a final inspection. I scheduled mine for 4pm. At 4:30, when no one had arrived, I called the office to ask what the hold up was. They said someone would be there in 5 minutes. Another 30 minutes later, at 5pm, 2 maintenance men arrived to inspect it. Gee thanks, only an hour late!

On a side note, I've since moved to Baltimore city. The other day I saw a homeless man taking a crap by the side of the road, not in an alley, but in direct view of everyone around him. Did this bother me' No, instead my thought was, AT LEAST I NO LONGER LIVE IN CENTURY APARTMENTS!!!!!
