Century II Apartments

We love it here! From: artnut Date posted: 2/25/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   We are so happy here. I remember reading the reviews before moving in and I was skeptical but we absolutely love it here. Maintenence is somewhat slow. Our neighbors have 2 small dogs like mine which bark when they hear people and we never hear one anothers dogs unless youre out in the hallway. No pests which is great. The noise is so-so. You have to remember that a major college is around so you will have students in your building. Bass is the only thing we really have had issues with but we talked to the neighbors and they were totally cool. Being on the bottom level is good and bad. Because the ceilings are a little squeeky, we could hear the neighbors having sex all the time which was terrible but it stopped after a while. (sorry but there is no way to be blunt about that) BUT if youre on the bottom floor moving in is a BREEZE!!! Also its great for pet owners. Downside-the leaves gather on the balcony but the great grounds crew come and take care of it for you. During 12 inches of snow the grounds crew plowed a spot for me which was so cool. We are totally happy here!
