Hen Webb is the worse

I have been here for 4 1/2 years. The first 2 years were ok. The apartment is huge, close to everything, it was quiet and peaceful, and the masterbath is really nice. Oh and they are lenient on not kicking you out if you can't pay rent for a month due to a hardship. That's all the good stuff I can say.
The past 2 1/2 years have been absolute hell. The apartment was built in 1974, and it looks like it. The plumbing is terrible. I haven't been able to drink my own water for months. I have to purchase it. The water smells like sewage and rotten eggs. It taste like it too. Oh and add the taste of chlorine. There was a period where there was no water at all for 2 days. Maintenance is a joke here. It takes them weeks to respond. Here are the issues in my apartment right now
- A 2 foot by 2 foot hole in my ceiling in the hall bathroom. (Water just runs right through and drips on you, and the floor. (It's been here for weeks)
-My master bathroom is not operable AT ALL. The tub doesn't work, the toilet has no water, and the sink has a huge hole in the pipe so when you turn on the water it runs right threw.
-My carpet is matted and worn
-My dishwasher doesn't work
-My trash compactor doesn't work
-The refrigerator half ass works
-I have termites.
-I have a major roach infestation
-There is mold and mildew that continues to resurface in my kitchen and bathroom
-One of my neighbors is a crackhead and loves to allow teenagers to hang out in the hallway
-One of my neighbors in a thief who takes packages
-The neighbor across the hall is an alcoholic who crashed up 4 cars in the parking lot in one night
-The upstairs neighbor has a 16 and 19 year old who are clearly straight out of the projects. One of the neighbors even defecated in front of someone else's door. The lady is nice but her kids are unruly. Oh and they keep breaking the security door and having sex in the hallway. The oldest one also has sex with men and women in the hallway and smokes weed.
-My mailbox has been broken for over a year.
-I get ants every few months and these are some big ass ants
-I have a massive crack in my ceiling.
-The walls are paper thin. I can hear when someone urinates or coughs.
-There are mice in the laundry room and storage unit.
-They are now accepting section-8 and have a SUPER lenient credit policy. Someone I know how has really F-ed up credit and evictions moved in with a $250 security deposit.
-Someone keeps breaking into cars
-Some of the apartments have flea problems.
-The list goes on and on./
I am finally moving this year. The only reason I haven't moved prior is due to my credit. Now that my credit is back in order, I am breaking my lease. I can't wait until December. The roaches and termites have taken over my apartment. PLEASE DON'T MOVE HERE. I PROMISE YOU WILL BE SORRY. THIS IS THE PROJECTS OF COCKEYSVILLE. Also, Hen-webb refuses to respond to letters or address any concerns. Their CS dept is completely incompetent. Ms Herb is a joke, and the property manager sucks. I also used to work for the company and I saw how scummy the company was. After working there, I wanted to move instantly. They treat their tenants like they are nothing. I pay too much money here to deal with this crap. I pay $1,000 per month to live in the Projects, have crackhead neighbors, no clean water, only 1 functional bathroom, free roaches and other insects, a broken security door, no functioning laundry facility, rude management, no pool, no amenities, nothing. This place is only worth maybe $600 per month. $700 if you live by the rental office. Oh and parking is horrific. Don't come home after 10pm

Oh my God! How could you work for these people? They are the -----! Seriously, this has been the worst year of my life living in this dreadful place. I would break my lease, and leave early but these people won't get any more of my hard earned money than they have to. You may be able to treat the Section 8 slobs like crap, but I'm a tax paying citizen. I'm going to Briarcliff, where I will be treated like a person!

I wrote this review. I STILL cringe when I think about this place. It was the worst place I have EVER lived. If this was the last place in Maryland to live, I would literally live in my CAR until someone had a place for me to rent.

Do me a favor. Don't call somebody a slob because they are on section 8. Alot of us have jobs and pay taxes like you and even have internet access.

well truthfully, most section 8 applicants do not take care of their living spaces and have no sense of value. not all of them but most. I was wondering why Cockeysville was starting to look so torn down over the past few years. I know people who rent from Hen-Webb and they are always getting eviction notice after eviction notice and NEVER get evicted and cause disturbances such as uncontrollable kids and noise.

I've lived here for about 4 years, only because it is such a headache to find a new place, and EVERYWHERE that is recommended to me also has bad reviews. The size of these apartments are great, but I also have HORRIBLE ant problems every sprint. The toilet in my master bedroom hasn't worked for months. A maintenance man came, claimed he needed to come back the next day with new bolts, and hasn't been seen since. My heat hasn't been working, and the light in the bathroom turns on and off on a whim even though they claimed it is "fixed." My upstairs neighbor gets an eviction notice almost every other month and is STILL here with her children that scream and fight constantly. It sounds like elephants are running around upstairs. My car also got egged last year. I can't wait to move.
