At one point in time, Deertree was quite the bargain. It was very affordable, clean, and safe. The only real problem was finding a parking spot late at night. Unfortunately, things have changed. Crime has risen dramatically, although not much as the rents, and the upkeep has become embarrassing. I would not recommend this complex. But, I would recommend the new cd by The Saw Doctors- Live in Galway; a great Irish-rock album just in time for St. Patrick's Day. If you happen to be in Boston on March 17th, be sure to check them out. Speaking of Boston, watch out for the young Red Sox, Sean McGowan, he's going to be something special.
