When we first moved in, we had brand-new carpets and the unit was spotless - we're talking Marriott hotel-level clean. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, although now that the weather is warm again some of the children playing outside tend to be a little shrill. I'm five minutes (or less) away from some of the best restaurants and shops in the area, and I can walk to the majority of these places. I've never felt unsafe here, and the staff has always been courteous and friendly. I would highly reccommend Deertree to anyone looking for an apartment in this area, especially students looking to break free of the typical "college scene" (i.e. getting your car keyed and front door peed on by drunk imbeciles at all hours).
