At first this place seemed really nice. And then as the mold slowly raised to the surface of the carpet, so did the true nature of deertree. We lived in one of the town houses. There was a ton of room but not a single floor was level. My tv literally almost slipped from my dresser one nite. In the summer tons of huge bugs swarmed from the bushes. Also in the summer the drug dealers two doors down would throw their infant kids out of the house until 10pm. One night my house was mistaken for the drug dealers' and I was awoken by someone pounding on my door at 2 am. Dont get me wrong, there were some really great people who lived here, but there were also some very unsavory characters. And parents: there are 2 sex offenders living on Lord Byron Lane..so I suggest you look up where they live exactly and make sure your kids are aware and stay away. And everyone else: make sure if there are any defects in your apartment to report them asap! We ended up paying over $1000 to replace carpets that weren't new anyway. At first they seemed clean, but stains rose to the surface.
