Not the best-not the worst...yet

I have lived here for about 3 months and have an ok experience. On the day I moved in, somehow things were not coordinated right and the carpet was still wet when I moved in. The airconditioning was broken, as was the refridgerator. They evidentally hadn't checked out the appliances, etc before moving me in. The problems were fixed promptly once the leasing office was made aware of them though. Getting a satelite is a huge hassle, Verizon DSL cannot get into the complex for some reason and there is some problem with the cable boxes so the cable works for about 2 days a month. My biggest problem so far is that the neighbors are very inconsiderate, listening to loud, obnoxious music at all hours of the day and night. The people next door smoke like chimneys and it comes through the vents and under my front door into my apartment so much that it makes my living room hazy. There are also some shady characters that dumpster dive so make sure you invest in a shredder if you are going to move in here.
I have been living in apartments for quite a few years and while this isn't my ideal living situation it is not the worst apartment complex in the area. In my experience though, as time goes on the situations get worse, so we'll see!
