The apartment and the community looks good. The play area for kids and the location all made it seem like an appropriate area for us.

1. It took them 14 months to figure out what was wrong with our gas cooking (electric) range. Almost 15 times maintenance guys used to come in and change something until finally one smart guy figured out the problem.

2. Dishwasher was 30 years old. After 30 complaints, they put a new one in, 1 month before our lease expired and moved out.

3. Ghetto neighbors (7 guys living together in a 1 Br apartment next to us, 6 blue collar workers living in a studio !!. Loud music.

4. They don't put apartment numbers at the main entrance so visitors (and ghetto neighbors who misplace keys) ring your doorbell at 2 am!! We called the cops but nobody appeared.

5. Every 15 days, we don't have hot water.

6. Safety is doubtful. The window sliding doors in the living room got stuck so we could not lock them shut (anybody could just break in our apartment). After 10 requests, one maintenance guy showed up and said "I'll be right back. I need to get my tools" He never showed up. After complaining to a high level manager, he came again and said they did not have spare parts.

7. The 1 BR apartments have bad layouts. No privacy for bedrooms.

8. Small crammy kitchens.

9. THEY INCREASE YOUR RENT BY $ 25 EVERY YEAR EVEN IF YOU LIVE THERE FOR 10 YEARS. AFTER A WHILE YOUR 1 BR RENT WILL BE MORE THAN A TOWNHOUSERENT. I WAS PAYING $ 630 FOR 1 BR AND MY FRIEND MOVED IN 1 2BEDROOM FOR $ 630 THE SAME WEEK. SHOULDN'T THEY REWARD EXISTING TENANTS INSTEAD OF NEW ONES'

10. Before you book, look at the exact apartment you want (not the model) and get a feel of the neighbors. Because many ghetto guys share the apartment they can easily afford the rent.

STAY AWAY OVERALL. UNLESS YOU WANT TO INCREASE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE DURING YOUR LEASE.
ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10, I WOULD GIVE IS 3.
