When I first talked to the leasing office I agreed to move into a 3rd floor apartment. They called a week and a half before I was to move in and said the people in that apartment weren't moving out on schedule, they could give me the apartment right under it. I thought nothing of it until two months later when people moved into the place upstairs. I haven't had a moment of peace since. It convinces me that the leasing office lied, there was no one living up there when I moved in. Every floorboard squeeks, I can hear every footstep that they take at any time of day. I can hear their cat running around. I can also hear my next door neighbor's bird chirping. And if you think that is normal apartment living I can also hear most of what goes on in the next building and the surround sound in the apartment downstairs. After endless complaints to the business office maintenance came out and cut a large hole in my bedroom ceiling to try to fix the squeeky floorboards UPSTAIRS. A large portion of my ceiling is now green. I have taken countless cold showers in the morning which is almost funny considering one of the selling points they use is that there are only 6 units per building. I have lived in apartments that cost a lot less and been happier. They say the rent is high due to the improvements that they are making. Those include a new door to the building (I still feel a draft coming thru my front door so maybe they should replace that), new windows and a new railing for my deck. The wall and floors are still made of cardboard so the improvements do nothing to improve my everyday living experience and are merely cosmetic. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.
