Yes Steeplechase look good and the Display room that they show you is beautiful. That is where it ends though. The people in the office are nice to you when you are looking but then they act like they have a chip on their shoulder after you signed.

I moved in July and it was crazy! Let's see:

-Dishwasher imporoperly installed
-Toilet wouldn't flush
-Bathroom sink broken
-Bathroom Fan LOUD
-Bathroom Fan FULL of hair
-Garbage disposal had a screw in it
-Closet with W/D TOTALLY FILTHY!
-Several electrical sockets incorrectly wired
-AC flipped breaker several times

And that is just the major issues. All of these could and should have been fixed before I moved in. A friend who moved in around the same time has had several of the same problems.

The community, well, the pool is nothing special and the Dumpsters seem to get filled rather quickly. There are NO speed bumps on my road and people just speed through around the curves. I am afraid of getting hit just taking my trash out let alone taking my dog for his nightly walk.

Also with the snow we recently got they put NO salt down at all! The roads and sidewalks were not even plowed until after most people go to work.

Overall, I wish I hadn't moved here and I WILL moved soon. Terrible Place!

Where are you living? You are not describing the Steeplechase Apartments that I live in. We NEVER have problems with speeders and they cleared our lot immediately when it snowed.
