First of all, our move-in date was a nightmare. No one in the office communicates with each other. When we were trying to pay our first months rent, they didn't even have the price right. They kept changing it. They didn't tell us that our first payment had to be by money order. None of them had any idea of what they were talking about. They keep saying things are crazy because they are changing their management. Our toilet is messed up and maintenance has been here 3 times to fix it and it still runs. If it snows, they will plow one sliver of your road and push all the rest of the snow against your car so you can't get out for work or anything. All but one person will give you attitude in the front office after you move in. The walls are REALLY thin. If you sneeze too loud, you're neighbor will call in a noise complaint! A lot of dings were painted over. It's so thick you can barely hang things on the wall. They tell you they will re-carpet the whole place but they really just shampoo it. When we first vacumned, it took less than a minute to fill up our bag from all the dirt in on the carpet. The windows and the sliding door didn't lock at first. They will show you the model apartment, which looks perfect, but that's not what you move into.
The apartments are pretty big. It has a nice pool and fitness center. You feel realitivly safe here. The mail system is messed up. We are college students so compared to what we could be living in, it is definitely a lot nicer. Rent isn't terrible but for what you're paying, you would expect more from the maintenance crew and the office. They won't tell you when you move in, but you have to pay $20 for a card to use the gym. We thought it was free. Sometimes maintenance will come in your apartment when your sleeping to fix things and leave a note on the door saying they were there. They even come when you are not home! It kinda freaks us out. My roomate sleeps with a baseball bat in her bed now. The bedroom doors didn't lock or even shut all the way. The lighting was messed up in the smaller bedroom. Terrible ventilation in the kitchen. So if you cook anything, be prepared to open all your windows and doors or maybe that's just my roomates cooking! The tub was chipped. There is scratches all over the kitchen and foyer floors. We tried to scrub them out but it didn't work.
In conclusion, it's the nicest apartment complex in the area. They just have some kinks to work out...

I do not agree with any of this. We have been there two winters now and the snow removal is great. Last year, when they were plowing, they told us to move our cars down and they would plow out our parking spots and then we brought our cars back in. Maintenance is good and if you have a problem, they might have to come in when you are not there. I have a chain on my door so they would never be able to come in at night when I was sleeping without knocking and waking me up but I don't think that happens anyway. I have never had a problem with the office staff, they have always been very nice.

yes they do come in...once while I was...intimate they just walk in even though it was requested that they call first.
This was for changing the furnace filter...something that was not urgent so they didn't have to come in my place
They are rude beyond belief.
