It is a great place overall - the appliances were fairly nice and I loved the washer and dryer in the apartment. I had a fairly nice sized one bedroom. Balconies were huge. Maintenance came and fixed problems quickly. Only problems were the poor insulation - not so much of a problem in the summer because I was on the bottom floor, but I froze in the winter despite putting plastic on all my windows. I would sit in the living room and watch TV with a space heater AND a comforter. Brrrrrr! The apartment was not entirely soundproof but not too bad once my drop bowling balls at 3am upstairs neighbors left. Also, if people sit out on their balcony expect to hear them clearly with all windows closed. Noise between apts was manageable but maybe I just had OK neighbors (except for those ppl upstairs!).
Parking was never a problem and snow removal was OK. Location was great! Don't know where that person in the other review got the idea there were bigots there - mostly nice mature, working, rent-paying folks! Plenty of Section 8 in other parts of Cockeysville if you need it!
Great amenities like a pool and tennis courts. Also close to Loch Raven reservoir for peaceful walks.
One other thing - I am surprised they still advertise the trash pickup at your door. They "strongly encouraged" us to bring it to the front of the building. Some people didn't...some people did...but some people's trash got left in front of their door when they didn't. Just keep that in mind if this is a big deal for you. Enjoy!
