I have lived at Berwyn House for 5 months, and the management is either indifferent or very bitter. They are rude and almost always have an attitude. I don't think they should treat their residents (who give them lots of money..) this way. The elevators are out of service frequently, and take a few days or even weeks to fix. Parking is ridiculous, only a few visitor spots which are always taken because other residents have parties. I personally don't care about the noise level, but it's definitely not quiet. I can't play my music (any time of day or week) due to management complaints. There are holes in the walls in the hallways, and the place is pretty beat up inside and out. The maintenance people are very friendly, but usually seem to be in a bad mood. Likely because the management is not particularly nice. No bugs or leaks yet, but I wouldn't be surprised. The bathroom has cracks in the walls since we moved in and there are wires everywhere. I have never lived in another apartment, which could be why my opinion is so negative, but I would really recommend at least looking at other apartments. It's livable, I deal with it, but I can't say I *enjoy* living here. I do not plan on returning to Berwyn House.
