Biggest problem: Utter lack of caring customer service.
When I moved in four years ago, it was a bit distracting working with the office -- perhaps not too efficient, and maybe the complex wasn't quite so clean, nor painted quite so white. But the people, if not perfect, were pretty nice.
Then management changed. Whoever is managing the property has no sense of friendly service. And when I tried to say that I had had negative interactions with them as a customer, the assistant property manager merely told me that I didn't understand the business. That a lot of it comes down to legalities and it couldn't be helped. On their desks' Not a trophy praising them for good reviews or great service or lots of return customers and enthusiastic referrals... but a little trophy praising their low delinqency rate for payments. They care far far more about money than customers -- and they keep getting them because it's on the buslines. Makes me nuts. Read every line of that contract and ask questions before you move in!

I regret my decision 100% also. I have lived here for a few years also. i was late with rent once and they took sued me in court. Ask the manager what their policy is for any tenant if their rent is late by more than 5 days. They automatically sue them.

Yeah this place is the pits. The only thing I liked were all the amenities, ie. shopette, pool, weight room and bus service on property and close to beltway. Bad points: locks are always inoperable with front doors, someones car gets broken into every month, skyrocketing rent prices, terrible management- they'll sue your ass in a heartbeat, horrible maintenance- its like waiting on Jesus' ressurection. Rent at your own risk.
