request a garden style if you must

i have lived in a garden style walkup in seven springs for a year. i will not be renewing my lease, i hear they @ss rape you on rent increases. its a typical college rental aparment complex. they put wayyy more money into beautifying the outiside grounds than they do the inside of the apartments. i say to request a garden apt becuase we dont have to deal with the bull the people in the highrises do. no nasty elevators or lockouts in the walkups, and 3 flights isnt that bad, youre lucky if you can score one on the bottom floor. i actually havent had a problem with maitenance. weve had a few things break and within a day or 2 they came and fixed it. our heat quit working in january at like 10pm on a sunday, it was like 50 degrees in the apt, we called emergency services and a dude came out that night. the MAJOR PROBLEM i have experienced living her is the noise. we have obnoxious college boys that live below us, have parties at all hours of the night, and walk around like elephants. we have lowlife men live nextdoor that play grandturismo 24/7, which you can hear all the time, and have their hooker girlfriends get in ----- fights occasionally. i was once walking up to my apt and a woman was threatening a dude with a butcher knife in the stairwell. but i digress. i havent noticed a pest/mice problem. although i thinkwe have a squirrel in our ceiling that scurries around and sqeaks which is a little creepy. and the apts arent that nice. wall to wall cheap old beige carpet and white walls. parking can be an issue depending which building you live in. when i get home at midnight on a weeknight sometimes i have to park on the opposite side of the complex and walk, but im never scared to walk alone at night. i dont know if id recommend this apt to anyone, but i would say that its only suitable for college kids.
