Seven Springs Village is by far the worst living experience I and my girlfriend have ever encountered. I am a student and thus have lived in some fairly nasty college houses in College Park. However, Seven Springs Village takes the trophy for being the worse. I will now list the reasons.
Noise: We can here absolutely everything that our neighbors do. The neighbors above us are Chinese and apparently partake in a culture of NOISE. They never sleep and do not understand us when we ask them to be quiet at 1AM. The neighbors below us think it is acceptable to have a home theater surround sound system in a one bedroom apartment. When neighbors shower (they love to at 2AM)it sounds like the pipes in the walls are going to explode.
Filth:The apartments and common grounds are filthy. Residents do not clean up after their dogs while walking them in common areas. In fact, there are two neighbors that have Pit Bulls, which are illegal in Prince Georges County and not allowed in the complex. The apartments themselves are disgusting. When we moved in, our fridge looked as though it had never been cleaned. Furthermore, there was hair in the bathroom sink and bathtub.
Pests:We have had roaches since the day we moved in. If we get up in the middle of the night they scatter when we turn the lights on. Not a comfortable way to live.
Thug Neighbors:Cars are constantly getting broken into in the complex. The gate at the front of the complex is never closed because it is broken. The "guard" at the front gate is asleep whenever we come home at night. Oh and off the topic but the staff can't speak English. They are all either foreign or uneducated and speak ebonics. Also, it costs $1.75 to do one load of laundry and $1.75 to dry one load. Absolutely ridiculous when you consider it costs me and my girlfriend about $20 to do our laundry.
Maintenance:Our thermostat has been broken for almost a year and they will not fix it. Some nights we have to turn the AC on when it is 15 degrees outside.
Save your money and life (college park is violent) and rent elsewhere. We are moving to Virginia as soon as I am done with school. NOVA=cleaner and not ghetto.

When I lived there,my next door neighbor was a PG cop.every time he had sex, it was like I was in the room with he and his girlfriend. Needless to say was disconcerting and kept me from sleeping. Someone backed into my tail light in the parking lot at night. Fire alarms going off at all hours. The place is like U of M's reform school annex.

I moved out of there in January 08. I had the worse mouse problem ever! I left 2 weeks before my move out date because I couldn???t stand the mice. All maintenance did was put up mousetraps which didn???t work. Then to my surprise management took my $300 deposit from me because THEY had to do extra cleaning! I am now in touch with the VP of Realty Management. These people have to be the most ignorant people on earth. And do they ever check out apartmentratings.com????? Everyone hates them! You would think they would do something to improve this complex, I guess they obviously just don???t care.
