I think it is ok here ~~~~ From: LIBRA2007 Date posted: 3/19/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   I am not here to defend SSV by any means at all, but I do understand some of the things that people are writing about,I live in one of the high rise buidlings and our apt had roaches so bad in the kitchen, but we kept it cleaned and put down roach traps a sprayed every night until we did get rid of them, We still have them no doubt about that , also living in this high rise building people complain about mice and roaches, if they know they have that problem why do they get all the way to the trash compactor and leave 3 and 4 bags of trash sitting to the door, or pizza boxes stacked up outside the trash compactor door, this I do not understand, I know that every area has it fair share crime, and I am sure SSV has it share, there is no doubt in my mind about that,But judging from where I came from before moving here, this is a good place to live, (Although our carpet was dirty when we moved in) yes they have problems just like any other apt complex,I cannot understand why they have a security gate and it is never any security there lol, I gave up on trying to figure that one out, I think it is just there to make things look good more or less..but over all I like it here for the time being untill they piss me off , I also think the rent is a bit too high !!!
