last night I got home from a long day at work to find my apartment had been broken into. Lots of stuff missing and the doorknob and lock was practically hanging from the actual door. Called maintenance at their emergency number, got no answer. called this morning to have someone come and fix it. they refused to do it for free until i showed a police report. It had been filed but as most of us know, it is completed in 72 hours. I had to go to the office personally and yell for them to actually do something about it. And then it took 2 more phone calls for them to actually come over. Asked the property manager to call me and she was not even on property. Still waiting for a response. The robbery is not the first in the area. When i came here it use to be a nice place. Now all i see is hoods hanging around which shows they obviously do not screen anybody, all they care about is money. The leasing office is the worst on earth. People who don't give a crap and are not helpful at all ever. Especially the property manager Milly. Anyway if you are looking to rent here, stay away. Had to elarn my lesson the hard way. There are many other apartments that are cheaper and have way better service. Look to them instead!!

Milly is a dingbat. She cant even explain to you your bill. you have to keep asking her over and over again what she is saying. that office is full of dingbats. they shouldnt have a job.

We've lived here for 2 years, and in the past 6 months or so the place has turned into a scary ghetto. I have also seen the "hoods" roaming around at night in the parking lots, halls, etc. We've had to call the police twice in the past week.

SSV is a college community. At least 50% (if not more) of the residents are college students. The only people I've seen roaming around are those of asian descent and from India. Are you calling them "hoods"?

stupid response with absolutely no relevance whatsoever. You obviously don't live there and if you do, you have absolutely no clue as to what happens there.go to the hallways and the laundry rooms in the villas and see what goes on. As far as your racial profiling, that's just plain pointless and sad.

I never saw too many "hood" people, if ever. There were some creepy old people that would walk the parking lot. But they by no means scared me.
