I have been living at the Towers for almost 2 months now and it is not what I expected. My rent has been raised once without any warning and I am required to pay any electricity that goes over $80.00 per month. I split this with my three roommates. The rooms are nice and the furniture is adequate. The walls are paper thin and you can hear anything the person right next to you does in addition to noises from down the hall. I was told I would be on a floor with strictly graduate students, but this is not the case. The buildings are populated with primarily freshman. The staff are nice, but do not trust what they say. If you have a complaint and feel like voicing it, you can do so, but do not expect anything to happen. They will listen, but they will probably rule against you. Also, be prepared to wait anywhere from 30-60 minutes when asking a question from the staff, because the place is disorganized. The Maryland shuttle stops in front of the building, but be sure to take the weather and traffic into account before deciding when to leave for campus.
