Crime, Drugs and Noisy

Depending on where you live on the property, there is a park on the opposite side of broken land parkway that sometimes has bands every other week. The noise from the crowds and the band literally echoes throughout the complex. My wife and I can't have the patio door or windows open during this time because you can't hear the TV or radio even if you wanted to over sounds.
Dope dealers and drug addicts stalk the parking lots at night sometimes until wee hours of the morning and obvious crack addicts hang around as well. There have been notices posted quite frequently for reports of vehicle and apartment break-ins.
We've had 2 different residents move in near us and both of them have had drug traffic in and out all times of the morning. Random fighting and destruction of the property isn't uncommon as we have witnessed it first hand.
The response time for maintenance service calls is typically very slow and sometimes we've even had to remind them that we needed our apartment serviced. Lately they seemed to have been contributing a lot of effort towards improving the outside appearance of the property but don't be fooled by the hype.
We wouldn't recommend this place to people we didn't like and much less to friends. Be careful to look through your entire contract agreement should you still decide to move here despite the warning. The integrity of the staff seems fine at a glance but don't trust everything you see.
We moved here because of the price but if we could turn back time, we would much rather pay a bit more for more professional service, maintenance, piece of mind and peace and quiet.
Please keep in mind that this is a direct and honest reflection of our stay here but if you want to take your chances, feel free.
