Currently living in the remodeled apt- Woods Community. Great apartment, lots of space, grounds are kept nicely, however... Since day one of moving in, we have had an ant issue (on the first floor). Ants appear in our kitchen and bathroom. We recently had some pipe leaking issues in our bathroom. Maintenance was responsive to look at it, but the leaking problem remained from Thanksgiving till the middle of Dec. Fixing resulting in cutting the bathroom wall, ripping up the floor in the bathroom and having to deal with, once again, ants living behind the wall. Problem was finally fixed and repaired the week of Christmas. Maintenance does not always leave behind notes when they are in your apt. Currently have a mold issue in our bedroom window. Maintenance took 3 weeks to finally deal with the issue. Resulted in replacing all the windows in the bedroom. Windows are not all replaced yet and this issue has been going on since the week of Christmas. Mold has now taken over some of our walls in our kitchen (behind the stove)and behind the new cabinets. I would not recommend this apartment. Apartments may seem nice since they are "remodeled", but all you get is upgraded appliances, particle board cabinets, new kitchen/bathroom/foyer floor, and low grade apartment carpet. The windows and sliding door are very drafty (recommend getting thermal curtains for the winter to cut down on the draft). Parking can also be issue during the week (after 7:30pm and on the weekends). Overall, quiet community! I feel very comfortable living here, however, rent is too expensive. Live here at your own risk!
