My husband and I have lived here for about 5 months. Yes, the rent is high and probably not worth it in the big picture. However, the location is convenient and the complex is safe. I'm not sure what all the complaints are about having to live on the top floor. We have a unit above us, and we hardly ever hear noise from up there. It certainly is not enough to warrant paying the extra amount to live on the top floor.

Pet rent is ridiculous at $35/mo per pet! Apparently it's to help stock the doggy poop bags, but we have cats!!! The parking is bad and we have a couple of guys near our apartment that have the loudest, most obnoxious mufflers on their cars....not fun to wake up to at 5:45 am!! Also, if you live in the back of the complex, you get noise from Hwy 29. And yes...there are ants. They showed up about a month after we moved in (probably after the insecticides wore off). We got Terro bait at BJ's, though, and that took care of the ant problem for us. We just keep a few traps tucked away on the kitchen floor.

Overall, an okay place. You may want to find something cheaper, though.
