We have lived in our bottom floor apartment in the "woods" section for over a year now. We have the remodeled apt which is nice. It is very expensive for the space but you are paying for the area. The nice thing about the bottom floor is we have not had to use our air conditioning because it stays cool so we have saved on our electric bill, but you can hear everything going on above you. The other complaint is the smoking. Yes people are allowed to smoke in the apartments, we have had a problem with the smell of cigarette smoke coming into our apt through the vents. we have reported it but they keep telling us well we do allow smoking in the apts but just let us know when it happens again. It has happened almost everyday. It is especially strong in the bathroom for some reason. The other issue is all the bugs. We get a lot of silverfish and earwigs, thankfully not to many ants. We will not be renewing our lease here next yr. Would perfer to find a non-smoking place and something cheaper.
