I recently moved out due to a change in my job, but had I stayed in the Columbia area I would probably have renewed my lease. The office staff is very friendly. I lived in the woods community, so my apartment had been renovated. I didn't have any major maintenance issues but if I did put in a maintenance request they normally responded within 2 days. My only issues with the apartment were the bugs and the AC units. During the warmer months, everytime I walked in the door from work, I felt like I was killing a bug or bugs. As soon as the colder months came I didn't have to kill as many, but still gross! My second complaint/issue was that having a first floor apartment, the AC units were right outside my bedroom window, so everytime they kicked on at night, I would hear them and they were pretty loud (and it's not just one unit it was six). As far as the noise, the walls seemed pretty thick because I never heard my neighbor beside me, but between the floors is another story. A few months before I moved out, new neighbors moved in above me and it sounded like they were remodeling or moving furniture every night. You could also hear them getting busy at night too with the constant tapping of their bed against the wall. Parking was an issue some nights, depending on when you got home their may not have been parking in front of your building and I did have to park down by the trash compactor on a few occasions and then walk down three buildings to get to my apartment.

secretskittles , I am living in this apartment from last one year and planning to leave next month because of many reasons and yes you will find spiders, centipede, crickets, and other small bugs and there season starts now in spring, you wont find any bugs only in winter. Good Luck to you if you are moving to this apartment.

ugghh...the bug this is grossing me out! I'm moving to columbia soon, so i'm looking into places. so were they're a lot of bugs?? Like spiders or what?
