I was a tenant at this complex when the management was changed a couple of years ago. I had a couple of problems while living here: The kitchen was old/appliances sporadically worked, and to make matters worse, the was a downhill cant on the floor leading into the kitchen (we were a 3rd floor apartment). NONE of the inside doors latched into place in the apt and constantly just opened due to a breeze or whatnot, and numerous requests to repair yielded no response. The lock on our balcony door didn't work either. The vents were removed by whomever prior to our moving in, so there were just gaping holes where the vent covers should be, and this took about a month to get rectified. The paint on our front door was peeled off in large quantities & hideous looking but management would not have it repainted. Parking SUCKS if you don't get home till late, (weekends mostly) sometimes I would have to park in the next building's lot which was quite a hike!! Sometimes the police would be running thru the complex on foot trying to catch God knows who, this hapened twice in 6 months. Also when the management company was switching, my roommate and I were in the process of moving out. We provided timely notice of our move but when it came time to leave, the new management company claimed they never received notice (we had notified, by writing, the previous management company) and because of this they tried to keep our security deposit. I fussed and argued with them for AGES about this, and finally about 3 months after we left the apartment we received our deposit back. The neighbours were quiet & friendly, great access to gas station, shopping, etc. but I just don't think it was worth the thousand bucks; move to Baltimore County and get a nicer apt for your dollar. And who knows maybe things have changed, but by the reviews I see, some of the same problems still occur.
