good place but very noisy

I lived here for 1 year 03-04. The place has all the amenities mentioned by others - you expect that with the high rent that you pay. BUT IT IS VERY NOISY. You can hear every time the tenant in the apartment upstairs walks! The tenant who lived above me used to walk around as late as 2 AM in the morning.
Obviously I was not happy as I could not sleep very well. I wonder if the sound insulation in this new apartment homes have been compromised' In the past I have lived in older apartments which have been a lot quieter.
I tried to complain to the management and the tenant upstairs but the problem persisted till I moved out.
I would recommend this place only if you live in the top floor or else pray that you get a very quite tenant upstairs.
