Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I thought I'd write up a review for those thinking about living here. I rented here from 2003-2005.
Prior to 2004, there was a previous management company that serviced this complex. At that time, the staff and maintenance people were very helpful and the grounds were well kept. Sometime in 2004, a new management company, ING, took over. Why, I'm not sure, but it was definitely for the worse.
I think most people's primary concern about an apt complex is noise. Well, unless you are living on the top floor, you can forget about a good night's sleep. The walls are thin (I could hear my neighbor snoring!) and the insulation between floors are paper-thin. Reading some of the past review, I am glad it wasn't just me, but you can easily here the people on the floor above you walking around, and even worse, dogs running back and forth (if they have one). Based on noise concerns, I do not recommend this place at all. Also, do not seek management to fix the noise issue at all; at best, they'll pretend to do something about it, but not do anything.
Regarding parking, I'd say do not expect guests to find any parking. There parking garage is basically all reserved for residents and parking around the complex is slim. It's nearly impossible to find a parking spot after 5pm.
If you are going to tour the apartments, look carefully at where the air conditioning vent is. For my, it was right outside the bedroom, so when it was on, it was very loud.
I was on the ground floor, so this may not apply to the upper floors, but bugs/insects are an annual issue. The main culprit is around spring time, millipedes would continually show up in my apartment. It didn't matter how many I killed, they would keep coming back. If you enjoy squashing bugs, then this is a place for you.
Anyhow, long story short, I would not recommend this apt complex because of the huge noise issue - paper-thin walls!
