YOU DONT WANT TO STAY HERE

I have just moved into this property and GOD what was I thinking' I am from out of state so I did not know Better but brace yourself and make your decisions abit wiser based on my mistakes.
1.I had to fill more than 1 application the first one got lost.
2. At move in I was given Wrong mailbox keys and my gate keys did not work for the first week, I spent a good deal of my evenings trying to convince other residents to let me into the property and the leasing managers reponse to my continued plea's for help was; What else do you want me to do' I have programmed the keys in the system.
3. I filled in a move in check list that also got lost and I had to fill a new one after numerous trips to the office to try and see if they found the first one. No one had the courtesy to call me and when I did call to enquire I was kept on hold for the longest. After filling the 2nd check list, the first check list miraculously appeared.
4.When I tried to have a candid one on one with the leasing manager, Can you belive what he told me'; He said he had not seen my move out request, .They have a policy where you can move out in the first month but the catch is they make you pay a non refundable deposit of $250.00 first when moving in on top of your regular security deposit. I was not even rude to him I just asked why he was not even concerned about the fact that my gate keys did not function properly and i had to stay locked out of the property in the cold winter nights ( at 9.00pm or later) or why did he not offer to check what the problem was, instead of dismissing me by asking If I needed him to do anything else for me since he already programed the keys. How about cross checking that their system really works'
5. When the check list was passed on to maintance, A man came to my unit as I was about to leave for work. He introduced himself as one person yet his badge said another name' I personaly walked him through the unit showing him my concerns. He did try my mail box keys and it is at this moment that he determined they were the wrong keys. He promised to get me new Keys. Later that evening I came "home" to find the new mailbox key on the kitchen countertop. Some of the repairs were made but the burnt counter top in the kitchen was still burnt. There was also no work order left behind to indicate what the status of the work was. WHen I opened the refrigirator to get some drinking water, the water was frozen, I had checked the settings when I moved in so I knew someone had changed it in my abscence.
6.After a couple or so days, I went back to the leasing office to try and get more information on what had happened because calling them is a nightmare. I was told all the jobs in my apartment were closed. I was suprised given that no work order was left behind. When i mentioned my refrigirator incident to the leasing agent she laughed. She then told me she could reopen the counter top job and would call me when maintance was ready to do the job.
7.Again no one called me or let me know what was going on. three days passed and I went back to leasing office. The jobs were still closed and the lady who said she would open the counter job for maintance said. " oh yeah...... They said they could not fix it". Then she and the leasing manager went to the back room of the office and I could hear them laugh. Again I spoke to the lady who actually moved me in the first place with the wrong set of mailbox keys and non functional gate keys and she said she would call me to let me know the status. I am still waiting.
8.when I looked online, so many people have similar complaints from two to three years ago to date. Since I have to let my lease lapse, The best advice I got is to install cameras to make sure my privacy is not violated. Columbia town center residents needs some prayer yall.
